About eCornell

eCornell is the eLearning arm of Cornell University, Ithaca, New York.

More than 200 courses, which can be taken individually, can build up to more than 50 certificates, issued by Cornell University. These courses and certificates cover a significant number of competency domains. From the domain page, select your domain and click through to your course of choice.

The eLearning delivery in eCornell is unique as it is a collaborative eLearning platform. You interact in a virtual classroom of up to 35 fellow learners from around the world, guided by an instructor appointed by eCornell in the USA. Most of the interaction is asynchronous. There will likely be a live session, which is not mandatory, as the learners will be from all time zones.

Most of the courses will run for 2 weeks, except the Data Science courses, which run for 3 weeks. You can expect to spend 4 to 6 hours a week on each course.

Most courses have 1 to 3 classes each month, some have classes every other month. From the courses page click through to your course of choice to select your class dates. You may switch to a later class 24 hours before your class starts.
